Hello, my name is JJ. I am 21 years old and I live in Los Angeles. I studied Anthropology and International Studies at UC Davis, in my 3rd year I was diagnosed with Spindle-cell-sarcoma (some rare kind of cancer, which also later metastasized to my lungs, kidney, arms, legs... my entire body) and was forced back to LA for a shit load of radiation and chemotherapy. I miss going to live music and many other activities I enjoy doing, and I wish I could yell "I have cancer, cancerrrrrrrrreeeeeerrrahh" at people who stare. Radiohead is one of my biggest passions in life, and they are helping me go through this very difficult time. I wish there will be one day I get to go on tour with them... or at least see them as many times as I possibly could.

This Tattoo is the Hyrulian Crest from The Legend of Zelda. I chose to get this tattoo because all the Zelda games have gotten me past the hardest of times in life. The 3 triangles (or the Triforce) Represent, Power, Wisdom, and Courage. and with that I take my tattoo to heart.

I’ve been following this blog for a while now and it’s interesting to read everyone’s stories. However it’s just annoying reading so many teenagers going on and on about how their tattoo symbolizes or has helped them gotten through “the hardest of times in life”… especially in this case where what gets her through the harshness of life is a game… it’s just stupid.
